In the last two trading days of 2010, I had to reverse DX to the short side and EC to the long side because of the cross in 5-20 EMAs (I sometimes use 10-50 EMAs for more volatile markets). So yes, short DX and long EC but my gut feeling is that the opposite would make more sense...but, alas, what do I know...:)
