... it is possible that 80% of people are indeed broke already.
Trouble is, 60% of those think they are not (just spank the credit card) and another 15% think they are rich (because they own assets such as CDO's in their pension plans for 10-20 years down the line..)
That leaves just 5% of people who are broke because they have no money, or already accept that they have lost access to further funding.
This latter point is perhaps what the public REALLY defines as being broke nowdays!
Hobos may well become the only honest people of the future perhaps...?
