Corn: While wheat and beans posted strong losses for the week, corn settled with light losses, which is a testament to how bullish its longer-term market structure is.
Soybeans: The short-term trend turned down Friday as bean contracts finished sharply lower on renewed selling interest from both noncommercial and commercial traders.
Wheat: As with beans, the short-term trend turned down Friday on pressure from both sides of the market as near-term fundamentals remain bearish at all three exchanges.
Live Cattle: Cattle contracts were mostly lower following the weakness in the overall commodity complex, though contracts closed near their highs.
Cotton: When the market reopens Monday evening it may be locked limit-down (7 cents) as option trading was shut down Friday after the lead month traded at a synthetic price double the daily limit.
