Today's Market View Corn Expected to Open 9 to 11 Lower as of 7:15 a.m. CDT
24 minutes ago
Corn: The new-crop market provided spillover support to old-crop as concerns grow over spring flooding, planting delays and acreage failing to reach a level that will replenish global stocks to a comfortable level.
Soybeans: Similar to corn, new-crop contracts supported old-crop issues as pre-report estimates for the March Planting Intentions report continue to come in below last year.
Wheat: The supply and demand situation continues to grow more bearish for wheat, largely due to the poor export inspections and shipment pace.
Live Cattle: Cattle contracts were pushed sharply higher on buying from both commercial and noncommercial traders due to solid fundamentals longer-term.
Cotton: Cotton contracts settled modestly mixed with the new-crop December contract finding support from follow-through noncommercial buying.
