SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures turned lower Thursday after the Energy Information Administration reported a decline of 6 billion cubic feet in the nation's storages of the product for the week ended March 18. Natural gas for April delivery (bgj11) retreated 3 cents, or 0.7%, to $4.30 per million British thermal units. Analysts polled by Platts had expected the EIA to report a decline of between 5 billion and 9 billion cubic feet for the week.
