hi lee, for what its worth. the price has not broke above the top of the up trend channel on either the weekly continuous or the daily chart for may corn.(
so far as my magnifying glass and ruler can tell) volume decreased today as well. maybe employment not so good on thursday given todays numbers. so new high maybe but i do not think it is a breakout yet.

i am not going to short. maybe volume was light because china raised interest rates. thursday and friday will tell the tale.
