Hi Coral. Interesting the subject matter this thread brings up.

Anyways, one of my favorite passages:

"You have seen and believe...but blessed are those who do not see and yet believe."

I believe that the deepest part of the scripture is based on this one premise...the premise of faith...

Yet science always holds to the equation that seeing IS believing, PERIOD. ...interesting though....many of those exploring the realm of sub-atomic physics and the actions of nano-particles and such, are now being faced with having to admit that consciousness itself and observation alone actually CHANGES that which is being observed! Like when the observation of the wave function of an electron is observed, the very action of observation collapses the waveform and a particle is found.
Science alone cannot explain this. It seems consciuosness itself affects the outcome of circumstance, at least at the sub-atomic level....

Faith is a description of conscious behavior.
