Home prices fall again in Feb: Case-Shiller (by Greg Robb)
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- The prices of single-family homes in 20 major cities fell 1.1% in February, according to the S&P/Case-Shiller home price index released Tuesday by Standard & Poor's. This is the seventh straight monthly decline. Prices have moved down 3.3% in the past year. Home prices declined in 19 of the 20 metropolitan areas tracked by Case-Shiller in February compared with January. Detroit was the only market where home prices rose in February.
