Today's Market View Corn Futures Expected to Open 3 to 5 Lower as of 7:15 a.m. CDT

Corn: The corn market recovered from Thursday's collapse by posting sharp gains on renewed noncommercial support and averting the establishment of a short-term downtrend.

Soybeans: Buying from both commercial and noncommercial traders sparked a sharp rally Friday that wiped out the week's losses as fundamentals continue to grow more bullish.

Wheat: Solid losses in wheat last week turned the trend sideways. This week could see a short-term downtrend develop due to increasingly bearish fundamentals.

Live Cattle: Cattle contracts settled the week lightly mixed as most traders took to the sideline Friday, though sharp losses for the week turned the short-term trend down.

Cotton: The new-crop December contract continued to stabilize last week with solid gains as buying continues to re-emerge from both sides of the market.
