Natural gas adds to losses after inventories data (by Claudia Assis)
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures on Thursday declined further after a government report on supply showed a higher-than-anticipated increase in inventories. Natural gas for June delivery (ngm11) added 12 cents, or 3%, to $4.26 per million British thermal units. The Energy Information Administration said supplies of the product increased 105 billion cubic feet in the week ended May 20. Analysts polled by Platts had expected an increase between 90 and 94 bcf.
