Actual May 31 2011:

Corn=86% Planted (inline with expectations) 10yr avg= 91%
Beans=51% Planted (below expectations) 10 yr Avg=71%

Again Ohio should wrap it up this week with only 18% corn planted.
For those that don't know...planting moves from the Western corn belt to the Eastern corn belt.

In my view, this is only slightly friendly for the opening tonight...as next crop progress is a non-issue for corn, since we will be 100% planted by next report...weather or no weather...they always get it in the ground. Now its not what you plant..its what you grow. :)
