Yes most of the light bulbs are now made in China. Also the new CFL (florecent)ones are made in China. Those light bulbs that look like light bulbs with the florecent sprial inside are made in China. The design for those was done by someone at GE about 20 years ago, but the process to make them is very labor intensive. Therefore, you got it, they are also being made in China. I don't think China is banning incandescent light bulbs. My gosh before the Olympics they could only drive their cars every other day due to the air polution that they did not want the rest of the world to see.
