The "typical trend in all time frames" is a composite of every year put on the same chart. By definition the seasonal chart is averaging what all OTHER years have done. But when you call a broker, place an order, and then watch the computer screen to tell you if you made the right decision, the computer doesn't tell you what happened in other years. It tells you what THIS year is doing. We trade ONLY what is happening this year. Those "seasonals" take the worst and best and make it look average. The point is, in each specific year you have to accept reality, and it doesn't get "averaged out" by other years. That's why last years example is so important. THAT was reality, NOT the averaging of all those extra years put into it.
We've got to think clearly.
