TFC Commodity Trading Forum

Hi,

LTD on NG11 was yesterday 6/28.
I was curious on final settlement. Price and final OI. i.e. how many contracts would actually be delivered.

I found:

had the below listed:
Tuesday, June 28, 2011: NYMEX Natural Gas Futures for July delivery closed up $0.101 at $4.357 per MMBtu.

But I could find nothing on how many contracts would actually be delivered upon ??

Any thoughts ??

My Ox data/charts have been cleared and I can get nothing on that contract any longer !!!

The OI came down to 27996 on the 27th. and had to be above 200k at one point. The OI for Sept is now 210,619 so there is a LOT of speculative buying in there !!! I was just curious just how much, but screwed up and did not get the OI yesterday before Ox cleared all the data.

I have no idea how "gas produced" is allocated among futures contracts, but the number delivered for NG11 would produce a volume that might be interesting ??
