SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures added to gains Thursday, ignoring a bearish report on U.S. weekly supplies. The contract for December delivery (ng11z) rose 6 cents, or 1.7%, to $3.81 per million British thermal units on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The Energy Information Administration reported a rise of 78 billion cubic feet for the week ended Oct. 28. Analysts polled by Platts had expected an increase between 69 bcf and 73 bcf.
