But you are giving an example of what all traders already know as far as being in a trade, Your money that is not in a trade (should be fairly safe), but money in a trade is different. As we all have known forever. This is nothing new. Just a crook on the loose. Money in a trade, is always at risk. Basicly out of yours and the brokers controll. Anything can happen. But money setting in an account and not in a trade should be safe and those monies should be made whole.
So if someone say has a $20000 account and $5000 of it in some trades. They should get $15000 back and hope for the best on the rest. Knowing that crooks are running loose. This has always been the way it is and all traders already know this and have known forever. And when dealing with crooks things are worst.
