That is a good point. However, in a sideways market,the Bollinger bands will tighten up. If you only make a move when they open again, you weed out 95% of the false signals from the moving averages.

My charts are really simple, I only use 2 indicators, however my method of analysis is fairly sophisticated. I have layer, upon layer of methods all layed on top of one another. If they don't all agree, I dont trade.
