Well Lee, to boil it down into a nutshell without going into great detail, i'm afraid that their proposed massive cuts in govt. spending will cause a social & economic catastrophe and hasten the apocalypse. I know that spending and the budget deficit needs to be brought under control, but it needs to be done gradually and delicately over a twenty year period or else it could trigger massive social unrest, rebellion, civil war, a 400% increase in crime etc. etc. and the USA will suddenly become a dangerous place to live. Could get real ugly around here if they aren't careful and consider the possible unintended consequences of their actions.And the way they are talking, they don't plan on being gentle. Another thing is radical republicans tend to be real authoritarian and draconian in the governing, and I detest authoritarian and draconian rulers.
