Dr. Marty used trend lines - very simple stuff to get in and out of trades. He used a protractor, and a ruler - his high tech tools to trade. And he was always on the lookout for his A-B-C patterned entry triggers.
I also have his videos - VCR - he'd take a chart out of the garbage and work on it - showing that it was that simple.

His approach,as you know, was based on the KISS principle. But, it worked. I crossed paths with another trader (quite successful) who uses the same simple strategy - he added the MACD to his tools.
The last time I spoke with him - he was trading currencies - they make the best trends....
He was a real gentleman.
