Now the USDA report and Planting Intentions are behind us...
WEATHER
This week looks wet amost every day Monday thru Friday in the
Eastern corn belt and delta. Some precip is to move into
Mid West also. THIS WILL DELAY CORN PLANTINGS in
the Delta region.
Monday afternoon is the 1st planting progress report and will
see who's behind. This could add bean acres and less corn
with this weeks precip soon.
Corn even with the so called "bear" news was only down
4.50 cents for the week but closed above 5 day ma. and 20 day
ma., plus over the 4 week avg. Also closed above the previous
weeks low of 385.
Nov. beans retested to the 618% res and over head is the
100 day ma res.
Still long corn short beans for those that NEED to know. Will be
looking to short out right nov. beans this week between
975-986.
While we were closed Friday the jobs report had the dollar sharply
lower.
