After spending a few weeks in the UK I noticed the difference is that they seem, to me, to be years behind us. Also the major Companies appear toe know this and if you spend time in London you can see the many different Countries represented. The Companies import business executives, and spend mega bucks to get them. I could go on but I doubt anyone has an interest in the meaning, which boils down to while they are interested in the leadership from Countries like ours we take our executives for granted, and tax their ass off. So the direction I see is we will grow closer by US trending backwards.

The language difference is subtle, like:

To rent a property it is

Them/ To Let
US/ for rent

Restrooms:

Them/ toilet or Washroom
US/ Rest Room or Bath Room
