I told the wife we were going to have to learn how to do fried green tomatoes. :-)

No ripe maters yet...a good number of greenies though. I did suffer a deer attack on one plant. I discovered that Seven Dust works well as deer repellent. Only problem with that...the rain washes it off the plants leaving them susceptible to attack...like tonight...rain. May have to kill the deer.

Been eating squash, cucumbers, cilantro, lettuce, and green beans. Man...those fresh green beans are good stuff. Got a couple Okra off the plants today and they look like they are fixing to boom. Also, eating plenty of peppers. Texas sweets didn't make...much. Carrots didn't do well either.
