TFC Commodity Trading Forum

Here is our day-trade benchmark thru Oct.

The method /strategy is based on 3 patterns: the 5-day, 10-day and 25-day price patterns. Our risk is never more than 2% per trade, we are only in one trade at a time, and our profit objective is always 1.4 times risk. Trade size is limited to 2 contracts.

If I had to summarize it in 3 rules:
#1 The golden rule of trading: buy dips in up-trends and sell rallies in downtrends.
#2 When determining trend allow the data to organize itself.
#3 Never allow your opinion to seep into the analysis
