Great analysis.I have never been a fan of Gann - but that's my problem. I have not spent the time trying to understand his methods.

I think the Ronbo got it right. I've seen sharp up and down spikes in comms which resulted in wide gaps up/down back to prior highs and lows.

Your explanation of the 7-10 day rule has clarified my confusion about this indicator. To be sure, there will be fireworks and a lot of volatility in this market.
Ronbo has a habit of going far out of the money in his option buys - and in a market like the PM's - he often reaps a windfall.
I am tempted to follow his lead on this.

I am looking for a day of extra high volume - and a small move in price where the comm closes flat, or close to flat. A tell tale sign that usually indicates the high/low for that period.
