Back in my expat days, I spent considerable time in Shenjen, Formosa (Republic of China), the Japans, and the ROK.

Many a three day drunkethon. Shenjen which is in the PRC ... they did the fifteen day gig ... so far to travel to make it back home. One year, my driver/translator took me to his home village ... .. a long days drive ... I must have gained thirty pounds.
