Thanks, Wayne.

I did some checking online and yes, there is that early sole detachment problem, but I didn't realize it was the Evo version only.

If I do go with them, I'll be sure to get the older non Evo version.

I came across a cpl of guys here in AK that bought Danner boots - one guy has 4 pairs, the oldest being 20 yrs old.

But I don't think they have the dual density soles.

More research, and internal hem and hawing needed ! LOL!
