I wear, mostly, Wolverines and Rocky's. There is a local retailer that sells them, normally at half price. I'm always waiting for them to put some on clearance. In 2011, I went in and there was a pair, with a Goretex booty and steel toes, marked at 29.95. The store is in, somewhat, of an "urban" location and it's not uncommon for people to attempt switching price tags ... Therefore, I took that pair to the front and had them scan them ... expecting to be told that "Sorry, that's not the price".

They told me that it wasn't 29.95 .. they were five bucks ... I kid you not. I went back to that section and grabbed everything that had in my size or a half size larger ... the most expensive pair was 19.95. I purchased fourteen pairs of Wolverines and seven pairs of Rockys.

Haven't gone through all of them yet, as of this date.
