Trout...I hate to tell you...but for the godvernment to give money it first has to take money from someone else whether it be through taxation or borrowing and putting that debt on the back of tax payers.

Why is it somehow beneficial to take money from one person and give it to another under the assumption that the receiver would spend and the contributor would not spend in the same fashion. That's a bogus leftest argument. Also the argument that the rich man will not spend is bogus. They are capable of spending more. Not only that, they create wealth by creating jobs either indirectly(through investment in business creation or growth) or directly by building business. Talk about money velocity.

That's not even to mention that to give people money takes away their incentive to work therefore making even more money to spend than can ever be given to them to spend. If this were not true then welfare recipients would be driving Bentley's and floating around the world on 200 foot yachts instead of living in squalor .

That old 7 times crap is leftest bullchit economics used to justify godvernment theft from producers in order to buy votes. That's all. It's a specious argument.
