True Texas Barbecue is post oak brisket. No taters .. No slaw ... Just brisket and soda crackers .. and beer .. LOTS of beer.

Last time that I went to the absolute BEST Texas barbecue joint that I have ever been to .. located in Bastrop .. was in 2005. They asked if I wanted bread or crackers ... I just groaned and replied, "Crackers, please". I mean "bread or crackers"?

The whole world's goin' to hell in a handbasket.
