Re: Shoes Dropping From A Centipede

the bottom line to me is Russia is a country w/ a GDP the size of Italy, and smaller than South Korea, yet they are always trying to appear to be bigger and more more important than they are. They don't do this honestly either. They do have an out-sized military and they are a nuclear power, which means we need to constantly watch them. The idea that somehow we are going to employ them as our muscle is delusional at best.

Call me old fashioned, but i think that anyone who were to take sides w/ Russia would be a traitor to the United States.

For an incoming U.S. President to openly praise Putin and call for closer ties was utterly ridiculous, and a betrayal of any one who voted for him, because it showed said incoming president was either very stupid, or had dishonest dealings w/ the Russians. Either way a lot of time and money is going to get wasted finding out which, and nothing is going to get done, even though republicans have control of the house, senate, and white house.
