For those that day trade anything, stocks, futures, FX.. I can understand the reasoning behind it of cos'.

No holding overnite, no crazy gaps to worry about, etc.

Even short swing trades of 3-5 days, I can see it, and I've done it.

However, outside of long equities, has anyone here had any luck trading longer term positions in futures or FX?

Like say, catching Beans for a 4 dollar move over 9 mths to a yr? Or 20 handles in a currency over 12-14 mths?
