That's funny about the chipmunk.

The first batch of reaper seed I got had three or four that germinated. The plants lived a few weeks and died. Then I bought another pack of seeds, zero germination. Third batch, zero. I tried one more time...just put half of them out and gave the other half to the nephew to try. I didn't try to baby these up...no pre-soak or pre-potting just threw them in the dirt and added water. These seed, at least, looked pretty good. They had a red tint to them whereas the others where just pale white-ish. We will see what happens but judging from the first three batches of seed, I don't hold out much hope.

The tomato seed I bought had a high germination but the plants had a tuff time living. I'd say 90% died. Maybe I started them too early but they were looking good.
