Salt is good for you.... *LINK*

This is why I never pay any attention to the latest craze in food intake. People are all the time coming up with "fad" BS about what to put in your body. Forever...they have been hollerin about eat less to no salt...it'll give you high blood pressure. Oh yea, that's why at age 59 by BP is 125/75ish and I'm a saltaholic. I eat salt on everything. I salt my pizza! I love salt. My body screams for salt. Give me salt!! If salt had any nutritional value it's all I would eat. SALT!

I can literally feel my bodies need for salt. Sometimes I pour it on by the pounds...sometimes, when I don't need as much, I lighten up on it. On rare occasion, I won't add any to the food. That's rare but it does happen. When my body needs salt I get huge cravings for it...so I eat it until I no longer have the craving...then I lighten up on it. Amazing how that works out.

I suspect all mammals like salt. They put out salt blocks for the cows. Want to draw some deer into an area...salt block. You got to have salt.

Back in the day, when playing football, they had us take salt pills to stop the cramps when it was hot out. Gatoraid, the original, flavor added to water that must have come from the dead sea. It was salty. Drank it by the gallons yet here we still are...not dead from hypertension.

Now...the truth is making it's way to the surface and the people who fell for the low/no salt BS are like...OMG, I need salt. Imagine that.
