A Predator is near

The laws of nature detail how the strong (normally few in number) eat the weak (normally abundant), and this is natural and expected.

It is also natural, when the "few" become too numerous or greedy, for the weak to join together to ensure their survival by "reducing" their oppressors.

Looking at the view from here, it looks like both sides are really agitated sensing a larger predator around watching. All monkeys showing teeth and screeching in the trees in fear and distress. Both sides are in fear state and lashing out.

Probably, the "few" are recognizing the "many" are starting to band together to come for them and are becoming fearful. The "many," at the same time, are recognizing they will all die unless they do something stop what has been put into motion.

I think this is what we are seeing.
