Chicken fryers are the best. They have a long handle and the short one on the other side. They're flat bottomed and deep, with a lid. Nothin' pan fries chicken like a cast iron skillet of that variety. Properly seasoned and lots of oil .. noting sticks. Pour out the grease, when still hot .. and wipe it clean .. right after you pour out the grease. Use some of those half-sheet paper towels, that you love so much .. and .... that baby never will hit soap and water ... best nonstick around is properly seasoned cast iron. Never used mine for chili ... Sounds like a winner.
