Tennessee is getting Pruitt from Alabama next year as head coach. Your program will likely benefit greatly.

Yes...the nephs and I were concocting all manner of covert opps designed to kidnap Sabin and bring him to UT. When we got Pruitt I told them...oh well, if you can't get the general get the general's lieutenants. This played well for GA...I hope it translates to the same success for UT. God knows we need some help.

I had traveled out to Wichita Falls TX to visit the old Professor friend a few years back. He was getting me a school discount for the room so we're standing there at the counter. My truck is regaled with UT ornamentation here and there, me wearing my trusty UT cap, there's not much doubt I'm a UT fan. I get bumped from behind...hard enough to make me take a step forward...at the same time I hear...Man, they let anybody in this place. I'm thinking...who the hell could that be...most of my friends from school are gone from there and certainly wouldn't track me down at the check-in counter of a motel.

I turn around and standing behind me were these two big ole boys wearing Bama hats. Of course, the insults went to flying. Me, having not much ammo to shoot with given our poor play, finally broke down and told them...give us a little bit, we're on a half century rebuilding plan. It was funny...out in the middle of nowhere TX the Bama UT rivalry flares up. :-))
