"I've been idly watching bitcoin from the sidelines." That, IMHO, is the best place to be watching from if you have to watch at all.

"it is interesting how it is becoming legitimized through its recognition and futures trading in the CME and CBOE." Yes, and one day it may grow up to become legitimate...until then...continue to employ tactic you describe in first sentence. IMHO

"I'm one of those guys who has been thinking "shoulda coulda" all along. " Shoulda, coulda, thinking is not good. Knew a fella once who was telling me he thought about buying something but didn't. I asked him how much he would have made. I don't know he said...I don't do that to myself. It's in the past and I didn't do it so I don't worry about it.

"Now I'm glad I didn't buy." and in a little while you'll probably be saying...I'm glad I didn't sell.

Way too much volatility in this girl. She's one of those that looks smokin hot but when you get to know her you say to yourself...man, I'm glad that other guy got saddled with her!

"or is it just heroin for gamblers?" heroin for gamblers.

I could be wrong. :-))
