When we lived, on Saipan, it was hilarious when there was a tsunami warning. Many of the locals and the fillerpeeners would take off for Mt. Topachau. The coral reef runs out over a mile from the island and, physically, there is no possibility of a tidal wave striking the island. At least no one knocked on doors and, it never gets cold.
