An ex-girlfriend was in ill health for a while...I saw something not long ago which lead me to believe that she had succumbed to her ailments. What I saw simply said..."gone to another place."

Strange, thought I, but she was, purportedly, a large part American Indian and maybe that was just a part of their belief system...she hadn't died...she just went to another place. I can appreciate that thinking but she was more enjoyable to me when she was here...at one time...way back when.

Even though it was 30 years ago that she was a joy to me...I was sorry to learn that she was no longer here.

Maybe I'm selfish but I prefer hearing people are still here. :-)
