Well,

that's beyond his powers as Prez. It's been legislated for decades and our govt have passed these laws. I don't think it'll change.

From the little info I've gathered, about 10k out of 12k are under the care of US Health and Human Services.

The kids are fed, sheltered, educated, etc,

It's what our country's lawmakers want to it to be. Why? Statue of Liberty comes to mind.
