widespread cultivation of hemp *LINK*

So much can and used to be made from hemp. Apparently, in the last farm bill they made growing hemp legal again. About time.

I suppose they made it illegal to grow hemp when they made Marijuana illegal. You can't tell high THC plant from the low to no THC stuff used in manufacturing by just looking at it.

My high school friend's family came from Iowa...every summer they would go up there and visit...he would come back with pictures of him standing by 10-12 foot tall hemp plants...left overs from when they used to grow it for commercial purposes.
