man...this is bad starting with...it's a one trillion dollar spending bill...then...it goes downhill from there.

Not good if it is as it sounds at first blush

Lots of bad but swallowable stuff in $ bill. But Sec.224 is a poison pill: Gives deportation immunity to any sponsor—or POTENTIAL sponsor—of an "unaccompanied" alien child. Creates incentive for illegals already here to order up kids from Central America (or anywhere). Outrageous

In short, this bill gives amnesty to the very people fleecing our country, paying cartels, and trafficking kids, it limits border wall and gives liberal counties veto power in a way that could override even executive action, doubles low skilled labor, expands catch and release.

I said this budget deal was fair, given what was presented the other day to the press. But holy cow the text of the bill is pretty pathetic. The Democrats are authorizing the border wall, but basically ensuring local Democrat strongholds can veto its construction.

Here's a gem from the spending bill. Section 224 (a) says that ICE may not remove any sponsor or *potential sponsor* or *member of a household* of a UAC. That's de facto sanctuary for anyone near a UAC. Ridiculous. 30-40% of MS-13 arrests have been UACs.
