Back in High School I drove a 1970 Camero...350, 4-bolt main, 2.02 inch intake heads. Hopped it up with lunati cam, headers, holley carb, etc.etc. 4 speed Muncie, positrac rear end(never knew the ratio). It was a kids car of the day. A piece of chit, really, but fast and fun.

Coming home one night...I snatched the perfect second gear. In first, it had stretched the front end out as much as it was capable of...did the fastest shift into second I was able to do...the front end was headed down...caught it right at the bottom...BAM...the car felt like hitting a baseball really hard. Just BAM...whole car shuttered.

When I passed under a street light...I saw I had hit that second so hard it twisted the car enough to crack the windshield diagonally from corner to corner.

HA...take that 1000 HP corvette!
