Good thing the guy gave up drinking years ago. haha

Didn't know Tru-Oil was susceptible to alcohol damage. I'll have to warn him of that.

But yea...of all the finishes I've tried, I like Tru-Oil the best. It's slow to apply but I love a high shine on wood. With polyurethane it looks like you have to look past the layer of plastic to see the wood. With the Tru-Oil you can work it up to the best shine around but the wood shows through it better.

Great stuff...never finished anything near as big as this table with it but I figure what the hell...wood is wood.
