I mean, the poor would be taxed on ALL of their income and the rich only little, otherwise. The rich can avoid the tax because only spend a portion of their "income."

In fact, perhaps the consumption tax should escalate like FIT. The more you make, the more you pay (to keep the poor from coming to take what you have). Consumption taxes would have no deductions.
