Re: I am all for consumption taxes if....
I have no idea who Dave Ramsey is. I recently did a seven day fast. When I was younger and my body far stronger, I would do a twenty-one day fast every year. I still have a food budget of less than one hundred dollars, per month, per family member. In times past, it was lower. If I can do it ... anyone can. But, the lazy and shiftless refuse to live as I do ... because they feel that they feel entitled to STEAL from the workers. Fresh green beans were a featured special, this week at 69 cents per pound. Brown rice, although ever since the ethanol crap has risen dramatically, is less than sixteen dollars for a twenty-five pound sack. White rice, of which we consume a great amount of ... twenty bucks gets you fifty pounds. Dried beans and lentils are still around a dollar per pound. Onions are 99 cents for three pounds. And, boneless pork loin can be had for a buck 'n a half per pound. That's some pretty cheap and nutritious calories. The lazy and shiftless are FAR too lazy to cook proper food. So, don't blame me for calling the lazy and shiftless exactly what they are .... LAZY and SHIFTLESS dregs of society.
