Re: New Year's resolution, better shooter *PIC*

Mr. Vaper...or should it be Mr. Vaporizer

"Glad we're on the same team."

I've said...all good people should be glad I'm a good people. I'm glad you're a good people, too. Tee hee

300 yards. 7.62...off the back of tailgate using pop out foregrip bipod. Ouchy. 😁

Zero...250...Appx. +4@140-150(-8 clicks) -4@300(+4 clicks). Funny that it takes 150 yards for max + while it only takes 50 more yards past zero to drop same amount. I just think 150yds chin=nose...300yds forehead=nose. Center mass...who cares?

Leftward drift likely operator error. Sue me. 😁

For ICD who seemed to find coolness in "hunting math". Each click value on my milrad scope at 100 yards equals .36 inch. At 150 yards each click becomes 1.5 times .36 equals .54 inch per click. To bring 4 inches to zero requires 4 inches divided by .54 inch per click equals 7.4 clicks...round off to 7 or 8 because can't do fractions of a click. The minus 4 inches at 300 works out...3 times .36 equals 1.08 inches per click at 300 yards. 4 inches low divided by 1.08 per click equals 3.70. Close enough for this kind of work.

The reason or the why of the multiplying the yardage by the click value at 100 yards is because...if the click value is .36 inches at 100, it becomes twice that at 200 or .72 inches at 200 yards. At 300=3 times .36 equals 1.08". @ 400 4 * .36 = 1.44" and on out.

If bullet drop equals -44 inches at 500 yards. 5 times .36 equals 1.8 per click...44 divided by 1.8 equals 24.4 clicks...just use 25.

Been told "click" as used here is incorrect usage of the word. Again, sue me.
