CA's beloved governor Newsom raised the minimum Wage from 15.50 to 20... but nor for all businesses.... only for Fast Food restaurants (I don't know why).. As a result, many restaurants are now reducing their staff, because their profit margins are too tight... and some of the higher costs will be passed on to the customers. But there is good news for some... restaurants that bake their own bread on location, are exempted. (huh?)., such as the restaurant chain called Panera.. The owner of Panera happens to be a man who has been a large donor to Newsom's campaign.
