I've traded futures/options since 1986 & stocks before that. Got into trading in general through options and find them very useful. Have traded very little for the past 3 yrs - involved in other stuff which has demanded 100+% of available time - but intend now to get back to it.

Am reformed academic - botanist by trade - w/ major interests in biology/history of economically important plants and in history of science.

Lived in Taxachusetts for 25+ yrs, but am now back in home territory - the river hills of southern Pennsylvania, abt. 100 miles north of Wash_DC.
