Hi. My real name is Tom C. Originally from Australia. In another life I used to write to the forum as "Dr Tom", but I quit after 9/11 to reorganise my life having suffered a huge loss in a managed fund.
I've now married and have moved to Russia, where we are setting up a couple of businesses. I still have a small company in Australia but I want to trade part time from here. It's my hobby.

I am fascinated by some of the more "esoteric" questions, such as; can traders consistently profit from the markets and, if so, does this equate to predicting the future?

My qualifications are a PhD in biology, but I am no longer active in that field.
